It’s back!
Costume-con35 was held in Mississauga, Canada April 20-24, 2017 and Literature Soong and I were lucky enough to be able to attend! It was my second Costume-con, and his first.
We saw a ton of great panels (notes will follow in the coming weeks) including but not limited to: Spandex, Hat Making, How To Make Headwear, Social Media For Cosplayers, Basic Pattern Drafting, Manipulating Commercial Patterns, Wig Rescue, Heat Styling Wigs, Thermoplastics, and Mold Making!
We cosplayed our hearts out – Lit was Nightcrawler, and I debuted my new Red Queen Dress! I was also incredibly excited to win a Hall Costume Award!!!
We also watched the Science Fiction/Fantasy and Historical Masquerades! The quality of work and attention to detail was absolutely sensational!
