I’ve finally got the cosplay room organized! We moved (sort of) recently from the small 600 square foot apartment to a whopping 1650 square foot house which meant that I would be able to have a room dedicated entirely to cosplay! It’s taken me longer than I care to admit to organize, but I got there in the end!

I have a desk for my computer and printer, a place for my Tv, shelves for my books, a desk dedicated to sewing (I even have my patterns and supplies in the drawers!), and the shelving unit for other hobbies like chainmaille, crocheting, and sculpy. I got a brand new Singer Stylist 7258 sewing machine for Christmas, so I’m super excited to use it! I tried it out briefly on some scrap fabric, and it does a sensational job!

I got wig head stand clamps so I’m able to display/store my wigs on the top of the shelves. This not only saves space, it allows me to style and store a wig without worrying how it will look next time I want to wear it.
I still use the cosplay bins that I posted about previously, they’re in the spare room closet as the cosplay room closet is too small for the bins.
Now that I’m sorted, and I have a designated sewing area, I need a new cosplay to work on.
In the meantime, I’m remaking my Red Queen wig, as there was a cat-related accident with the other one, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get it cleaned enough to wear. This time, I’m going to try a different method of affixing the floral oasis to the wig – closer to the way I did it the first time, where I glued the oasis directly to the wig cap. It was much sturdier.
I currently have the wig in curlers, waiting to be steam set. Once I start the actual construction, I’ll post more pictures detailing my improved methods!
How do you store your cosplay supplies?
